IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is a medical procedure that uses a concentrated beam of light to remove unwanted hair.

During the treatment, the device emits a light that is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair. The light energy is converted to heat, which damages the tube-shaped sacs within the dermis (hair follicles) that produce hairs. This damage inhibits or delays future hair growth.

IPL can also be used for the face to address various concerns like pigmentation, redness, fine lines, and acne by targeting coloured cells and stimulating collagen production, leading to a smoother, more even, and rejuvenated complexion.
